The Difference Between Xenon and LED Headlights

Many new vehicles come with a wide range of headlight options. While many vehicles still come with standard headlights, upgraded Xenon and LED headlights are frequently available. We are going to talk about the difference between these two popular headlight types.
Xenon Headlights
Xenon is an elemental gas. Automakers use this gas to make headlights. Xenon headlights are also called high-intensity discharge or HID lights. These headlights are common on high-end vehicles and are a popular option for aftermarket lights.
They are known to be extremely bright and are more efficient than traditional light bulbs. However, they do use more energy than LED lights and need to be replaced more often.
LED Headlights
LED stands for light-emitting diode. This type of lighting is becoming common in all types of industries and uses thanks to their impressive durability, brightness, and energy efficiency.
LED headlights are often used as replacements for xenon lights. Because of their compact size, automakers can use an array of LEDs in various shapes to create unique headlight designs that offer excellent road illumination. Many drivers turn to LED headlights to give their vehicles a custom look. The one downside to LED lights is that they are more expensive than xenon headlights.
