The All-New 2020 Chevrolet Trailblazer Revealed

At the 2019 Auto Shanghai Show, Chevrolet unveiled its resurrection of the Trailblazer. America hasn’t seen the Trailblazer since 2009 when the Traverse replaced it. If you remember that old design, you won’t recognize the modern, stylish new look of the Trailblazer.

General Motors said the new Trailblazer is “bringing a bold and expressive look to the segment” with a “character all its own.” Some experts are saying that it resembles a miniature version of the new Blazer with many similar features.

The new Trailblazer is sportier and leaner-looking. The front end has thin, determined headlights that sport a recognizable accent lighting strip. Chevrolet continues this look with the newest version of the signature dual-port grille. It wears 17-inch black wheels and the press release photos show the 2020 Trailblazer in Redline trimmings, so it’s safe to say it will offer that special edition.

The new model is based on the new GM VSS-F platform that is set to underpin next-generation, front-wheel-drive vehicles from Chevrolet. GM Authority’s speculation is that the new Trailblazer will be replacing the Chevy Trax in the compact SUV segment.

More details including photos of the rear, specs, and pricing should be coming soon. If you want to know more about the new Trailblazer when it arrives, let us at Graff Chevrolet know and we’ll keep you informed.
