Chevy Confirms First Electric Silverado | Grand Prairie, TX
You’ve probably heard a bit of buzz about electric pickup trucks lately, but you haven’t seen anything yet. Chevrolet has announced that it’s changing the game and putting the competition on notice with its first-ever Silverado electric truck.
Chevy hasn’t said much about the all-electric Silverado, but it has confirmed one fact: It will deliver a General Motors-estimated range of more than 400 miles.* That means you could potentially take your Silverado electric for a cruise down to Corpus Christi without having to stop once to charge.
Because it’s a Silverado, you can also bet that this all-electric pickup will deliver incredible power, capability, and style. It’s also a safe bet that it will be one of the next vehicles to get Super Cruise™, enabling fully hands-free driving for all your cross-Texas cruises.
Better still: Chevrolet will build the Silverado electric right here in America. General Motors President Mark Reuss confirmed in April that the truck will be made at the state-of-the-art Factory ZERO assembly plant in Michigan.
The future of driving is very, very close, and you’ll be able to find it at Graff Chevrolet. Here and now, we have a ton of great vehicles in stock, including the Chevy Bolt EV if you are ready to go all-electric today.
*GM estimated. Actual range may vary based on several factors, including temperature, terrain, battery age, loading, and how you use and maintain your vehicle.
